When you don't check into the "correct" place, they will charge your credit card and refuse to refund your money despite the fact that they have provided no services. Very good customer service. We found it and I'm so glad we did. I wanted to share an elegant dining experience with my two daughters when we were in Venice over the Christmas holidays and this restaurant was the perfect choice. I came here for my 25th birthday and had probably one of the best meals of my life. Would highly recommend for those visiting Venice. The service was exceptional - our waitress took wonderful care of us and the owner came by our table multiple times to ensure we were having a positive experience. Riviera was amazing. Our waiters were extremely attentive but did not hover like pesky mosquitoes; they just noticed what we needed and took care of it almost before we asked. Highly recommend.When my friend and I were last in Venice, we ate a number of good restaurants, but we wanted our final dinner before returning home to be exceptional - we chose Riviera, and were VERY happy with our choice!As a disclaimer, I was unable to dine here and this is strictly a review on how I was treated when I attempted to make a reservation in person. Everything else was excellent, I just don’t think the amount I paid was worth it.
