Il periodo migliore secondo me è stato da Atom heart mother fino a The final cut, 14 anni di capolavori irraggiungibili (Dark side of the moon su tutti), dopo la diatriba legale tra Waters e Gilmour, quest'ultimo assieme a Mason e al compianto Wright ha ottenuto di poter usare il nome Pink Floyd producendo tre album + due dal vivo oltre all'indimenticabile concerto a Venezia (al netto delle polemiche dovute alla solita organizzazione all'italiana, ergo pessima),Pur avendoli comprati tutti, l'impronta di Gilmour "incombe" sia su "A momentary lapse of reason"che su "The division bell"..... i brani capolavoro alla Pink Floyd si contano sulle dita di una mano, in "The endless river" si trovano degli ottimi brani, con l'evidente impronta del favoloso tastierista Rick Wright,scomparso nel 2008. pronti già nel 94 e che dovevano appartenere al 2ndo disco di "The division bell", accantonati , credo per un mero calcolo di marketing, un doppio di solito vende meno di un singolo LP, tra questi, il brano "Autumn '68" è l'unico che merita di essere annoverato come opera dei Pink Floyd.
