The food was very good, as was the view. At this time of year (and particularly over a weekend as this was) the restaurant is teeming with people who've come up mainly from Annecy itself. It was a great place to come but not anymore for us. We called in for lunch and after a short while the waitress came and took our drinks order and asked us to move to another table if we were eating, which we did. Pair that with a bottle of the local red and a view of Mont Blanc, it was a 2-hour sejour in heaven. We were served within about 15 minutes of the placing of the order, which we thought was very good considering how busy the kitchen must have been. We asked for some chips for a toddler and we got served a size of a big salad bowl not cooked well on top of that.
