Good selection of wines, by bottle and glass. The pool is private, clean and heated plus there is a hot tub which was great on the dull day mentioned above. Good breakfast. Guests can choose between an à la carte menu or a half-board tariff.
We have stayed in many hotel in Talloires but cottage bise is by far our favourite we have been visiting there for dinner for 5 years and from the first visit you are made so welcome and comfortable.the hotel is next to the lake with stunning views and if you’re looking for a romantic time you must stay here,eating outside overlooking the lake while eating dinner is just so so romantic.you will not be disappointed staying here the charm will draw you in and you definitely will want to go back.This hotel is charming, the main asset is the staff who all seem to ‘sing from the same hymn sheet’ with a quiet efficiency that provides you with very good service without being intimidating.

The hotel restaurant sits on lake, almost, under stunning trees - we arrived around 1pm and were ushered, immediately, to the best table (we hadn’t precooked or even knew what time we would arrive) - it was heaven The staff were extraordinarily charming and welcoming - even to my boys The rooms both had balconies and lake views - we were upgraded (who upgrades kids?!) The restaurant was incredible.
Everything was delicious, highly recommended!We stopped in for lunch in this idyllic setting and were not disappointed. Quiet hotel. A really relaxing stay. Heated pool. Yes, pets are typically allowed, but it's always best to call ahead to confirm. Lots...Sat inside by the door with a lovely view of the lake, we had a wonderful birthday lunch for my father-in-law.
