We booked here as we couldn't get into the village. It was large, well furnished and very clean with air condition and fridge. Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only. In the 9 hotels we stayed in on this trip, this was the only room that didn't have outlets on both sides of the bed. We stayed for one night in order to near the Canyon. Perfect if you want to wake up in the morning and see the Grand Canyon! Everything about the room was shabby ,old and dirty. Our expectations were that it would be more rustic and we weren't looking for rustic, so were pleasantly surprised. We would've preferred one comfy chair and ottoman to the big futon-type sofa that took up too much room and was situated in front of the big window making it difficult to look outside. I expected old and rustic at this place but Yavapai rooms were comfortable and very modern. The rooms were equipped like any comparable hotel. Guests can enjoy surroundings and stunning views over Sky Harbour and Phoenix Sky Harbour. Grand Canyon Besøgscenter befinder sig minutter derfra. The cafe was fine for coffee, fruit cups, muffins, although we did not eat in the restaurant as the man who checked us in recommended El Tovar which was fantastic.
